Job Description:
Lead a technical team providing Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) support services. Duties involve a diverse set of programmatic and engineering activities to include: developing project plans, coordinating program reviews, instituting management controls, program execution, developing and maintaining schedules, transitioning technology, systems engineering, new systems development, and experimentation planning. Actively supports client program briefings and presentation development, financial planning, contract and contractor progress monitoring. Previous experience and knowledge of military R&D is beneficial.
Education:
Masters preferred, Bachelor degree acceptable in science or engineering
Required Skills:
•10+ years Defense R&D knowledge/experience
•5+ years program management experience.
•Fundamental understanding of optics, lasers, and LIDAR.
•Understanding of systems engineering process
•Understanding of DoD’s R&D infrastructure, policies, and processes.
•Excellent communication skills.
•SECRET clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience interfacing with senior DoD R&D personnel (DARPA experience preferred)
