Job Description:
Lead a team through a structured, end-to-end software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, and testing. Work with internal and external teams to define requirements, specify architectures, complete detailed designs, and oversee implementations. Design and develop information/knowledge management, command and control, and intelligence applications utilizing leading-edge technologies and evolutionary development processes.
Education:
BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Required Skills:
• Proven technical leadership skills.
• Technical mastery of cutting edge software development tools and architectures.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design and development practices, software release processes, and quality assurance.
• The candidate must be service-oriented and understand the importance of managing customer relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
TS/SCI Clearance Required
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with DoD C4ISR and/or Net-Centric Operations and Warfare Reference Model (NCOW-RM) architectures and systems.
• Experience with any or all of the following technologies and architectures: SOA, J2EE, .NET, web services, web services orchestration, PKI, SSL, information security, databases, XML, XSLT, data modeling, metadata tagging, indexing, client/server or peer-to-peer networking architectures, distributed computing, and/or networking technologies.
• Familiarity with CMMI, RUP, and/or UML.
