Solers Organizational Structure

Solers is a software developer and systems integrator who applies leading-edge Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and cloud computing technologies to advance our customers' missions in the areas of SOA infrastructure, satellite ground systems, cross domain solutions, command and control, maritime domain awareness, and information sharing. Solers also offers scientific, engineering, and management consulting to assist customers in implementing advanced sensing technologies and aviation applications.

Net-Centric Systems Division

The Net Centric Systems Division (NCSD) specializes in developing and integrating the services, tools, applications, and processes necessary to realize the benefits of Net Centric Operations. NCSD employs experts in SOA trades, design, implementation, testing, and deployment to support our customers' information sharing and knowledge management objectives. Our strategies and technologies allow systems to interoperate horizontally and vertically, while simultaneously focusing on the migration of current or legacy systems to Net-Centric and SOA environments. NCSD consists of two departments: the SOA infrastructure and cross domain focused Enterprise Services Department and the user-focused Enterprise Applications Department.

Intelligence and Information Systems Division

The Intelligence and Information Systems Division (IISD) provides cutting edge, service-based satellite ground systems to support customer missions, such as intelligence and weather. Our solutions advance satellite ground enterprise capabilities by using a cloud computing infrastructure to create a mission independent environment capable of supporting multiple platforms, data types, sensors, and services. IISD includes the Mission Ground Systems and National Systems departments. Mission Ground Systems primarily supports the DoD and IC community, while National Systems delivers enterprise ground systems for Civil customers.

Mission Support Services Division

The Mission Support Services Division (MSSD) provides scientific, engineering, and management consulting to DoD and Federal organizations. The Global Information Grid (GIG) Solutions department provides policy, data and information sharing strategies, governance, data management, and enterprise-wide architecture support. The Sensor Tech department provides engineering and management support, as well as scientific expertise in radar, sonar, lasers, electro-optical, and maritime technologies. The System Safety Engineering Department provides safety engineering, testing, and software assurance services for safety of life aviation applications and participates in international standards committees.
